Comfort Food Classics: Cozy Autumn Dinner

Get ready to snuggle up with some seriously delicious eats! In this hands-on class, we’re diving deep into the art of crafting hearty, soul-warming dishes perfect for those crisp autumn evenings. You’ll learn to create comforting classics that bring everyone to the table, filled with the rich flavors of the season. We’ll kick off the evening with a delightful little snack board to get your appetites ready, and wine options will be available to enjoy with your dinner creations.

On the Menu:

  • We’ll start with Creamy Pumpkin and Sage Bruschetta, a delightful bite that perfectly captures the essence of fall.
  • For our main course, you’ll master Braised Beef Chuck with Red Wine Jus, tender and rich, it’s the ultimate cool-weather indulgence.
  • Alongside, we’ll create Creamy Parmesan Polenta, a luxurious and smooth bed for our main, and Garlic Herb Roasted Brussels Sprouts, adding a touch of vibrant green and savory crunch.
  • And for a sweet finish, prepare to be enchanted by Spiced Pear and Cranberry Crumble, a warm and fruity dessert with a buttery, crisp topping.

What To Expect: 

In our classes you’ll work together with other students in a fun, hands-on environment led by our professional chef instructors.

  • You will work with other students in groups of 4, sharing workstations and equipment.
  • Classes are 2 hours, unless otherwise noted above
  • Hands-on classes are limited to 12-16 students
  • You will be standing, cooking and working for most of the class
  • Please wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes and have long hair tied back
  • You will get with your meal:2 glasses of wine, 2 glasses of beer or water/soda

Mis En Place recipes are developed using common cooking and baking ingredients that may or may not be specified in the menu titles, including various fruits and vegetables, nuts, meats, spices, wheat flours, etc. If you have a food allergy, please check with Mis En Place Cooking Studio before attending the class. Adjustments to recipes cannot be made during class.
