Baking Workshop: Fall Pies and Tarts

Get ready to roll up your sleeves and dive into the delicious world of autumn baking! In this hands-on workshop, you’ll master the art of creating stunning and scrumptious fall pies and tarts. We’ll teach you the secrets to flaky, golden crusts and irresistible seasonal fillings, perfect for impressing at any gathering. We’ll start the morning right with a light breakfast spread and your choice of coffee or espresso, so you’re fueled up for some serious baking!

On the Menu:

  • Classic Apple Pie with a beautiful Lattice Top: The quintessential fall dessert, perfected with a woven top crust.
  • Decadent Salted Caramel Pumpkin Tartlets: Individual delights featuring a creamy pumpkin filling and a luscious salted caramel drizzle.
  • Rustic Pear and Ginger Galette: A free-form, fruit-filled pastry that’s as charming as it is delicious, with warm spices.
  • Mini Chocolate Pecan Pies: Rich, gooey, and nutty, these bite-sized treats are perfect for any occasion

What To Expect:

 In our classes you’ll work together with other students in a fun, hands-on environment led by our professional chef instructors.

  • You will work with other students in groups of 4, sharing workstations and equipment.
  • Classes are 2 hours, unless otherwise noted above
  • Hands-on classes are limited to 12-16 students
  • You will be standing, cooking and working for most of the class
  • Please wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes and have long hair tied back

Mis En Place recipes are developed using common cooking and baking ingredients that may or may not be specified in the menu titles, including various fruits and vegetables, nuts, meats, spices, wheat flours, etc. If you have a food allergy, please check with Mis En Place Cooking Studio before attending the class. Adjustments to recipes cannot be made during class.
