The 2026 Menu
- “Money Bag” Pork & Ginger Dumplings
- The Technique: Learn to fill and fold traditional dumplings into the “money bag” shape, symbolizing wealth and prosperity for the coming year. We’ll master the “Potsticker” method for a perfect crispy bottom.
- Longevity Ginger-Scallion Noodles
- The Technique: A classic Cantonese dish. You’ll learn how to flash-fry aromatics to create a fragrant oil and toss long, uncut noodles (symbolizing a long life) without breaking them.
- Firecracker Chicken (or Tofu) with Snap Peas
- The Technique: This is an easier, high-heat stir-fry designed to teach “Wok Hei” (breath of the wok) on a standard stove. The bright red chiles and green snap peas symbolize energy and growth.
- “Golden Fortune” Almond Cookies & Mandarin Oranges
- The Dessert: Moving away from complex steamed puddings, we’ll bake classic Chinese Almond Cookies. They are simple to mix, delicious, and their round shape symbolizes coins. We’ll serve them with fresh Mandarin oranges (the ultimate symbol of luck).
