Halloween Dinner Party: A Frightfully Delicious Feast!

Get ready for a night of ghoulishly good fun and gourmet delights! Join us for a hands-on, upscale culinary experience where you’ll learn to create a sophisticated and spooky Halloween dinner party menu. This class is designed for adults who want to elevate their Halloween celebrations with style, flavor, and a touch of the macabre.

We’ll start the evening with a complimentary glass of our signature spooky house drink, the “Vampire’s Kiss” a bubbly concoction of elderflower liqueur, sparkling cider, and a hint of blackberry.

Throughout the evening, you’ll work side-by-side with our chef to master the techniques behind each dish, from elegant plating to professional knife skills.

The Menu: A Frightening Feast!

Appetizer: “Spiderweb” Crostini with a Dark Fig & Prosciutto Jam

  • Learn to craft a rich, savory-sweet jam using fresh figs and salty prosciutto.
  • Master the art of creating perfectly toasted crostini.
  • Practice your plating skills by artfully drizzling a crème fraîche spiderweb over the jam for a truly eerie-sistible presentation.

Main Course: “Blackened” Salmon or Chicken with a Pomegranate Glaze

  • Learn the proper technique for pan-searing salmon to achieve a beautifully crispy, blackened exterior and a flaky, tender interior or crispy chicken breast with a moist interior.
  • Create a vibrant and tangy pomegranate glaze that adds a pop of color and rich flavor.
  • Discover how to perfectly time your fish and sauce to ensure a flawless final dish.

 

Side Dish 1: “Tombstone” Truffle Mashed Potatoes

  • Elevate a classic comfort food by infusing mashed potatoes with luxurious truffle oil.
  • Learn the proper technique for creating smooth, lump-free mashed potatoes.
  • Shape and present your potatoes into eerie “tombstone” rectangles for a spooky yet elegant side.

 

Side Dish 2: Charred “Bones” Asparagus with Parmesan Shavings

What To Expect: In our classes you’ll work together with other students in a fun, hands-on environment led by our professional chef instructors.

  • You will work with other students in groups of 4, sharing workstations and equipment.
  • Classes are 2 hours, unless otherwise noted above
  • Hands-on classes are limited to 12-16 students
  • You will be standing, cooking and working for most of the class
  • Please wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes and have long hair tied back
  • We will serve water, soda or 2 glass of Vampire’s Kiss Potion (acholic drink) with your meal or 2 glasses or wine if you do not want the house drink.
