“It’s Showtime!” A Beetlejuice Dinner Party
Step through the portal and into the kitchen for an unforgettable, hands-on Halloween dinner party inspired by the iconic world of Beetlejuice! Skip the standard small bites and join us for an elevated, four-course culinary experience where you’ll learn professional line-cook techniques, pan-searing secrets, and pastry-braiding skills to recreate a hauntingly delicious feast.
Under the guidance of our professional chef instructor, you’ll roll up your sleeves to sear, roast, reduce, and braid your way through a chef-driven menu packed with bold autumn flavors, vibrant colors, and eerie presentation techniques.
What You’ll Learn & Cook:
- Course 1: “Day-O” Blackened Chicken Bites & Tropical Slaw
Master high-heat pan-searing and knife precision as you coat tender chicken bites in a dark Cajun-jerk spice blend and toss a crunchy island slaw with mango, red cabbage, and a zesty lime vinaigrette.
- Course 2: “Neitherworld” Roasted Beet & Goat Cheese Salad
Explore flavor balance with this yummy dish. You’ll work with roasted red and golden beets over dark winter greens, velvety whipped black-pepper goat cheese, and drizzle a vibrant blood-orange reduction.
- Course 3: Pan-Seared Salmon with Blackberry-Pomegranate Reduction & Chef’s Black Risotto
Learn the ultimate technique for achieving perfectly crispy fish skin and tender, flaky salmon. You’ll build a glossy blackberry, pomegranate, and ginger reduction to cut through the richness of the fish, served over a dramatic Wild Mushroom & Sweet Corn Black Risotto (tinted deep black with squid ink and prepared fresh by the Chef).
- Course 4: “Sandworm” Apple & Salted Caramel Puff Pastry Braid
Finish the night in the pastry station! You’ll handle all-butter puff pastry, construct a spiced Honeycrisp apple and salted caramel filling, and master the serpentine braiding technique to bring Saturn’s iconic Sandworm to life before baking it to golden perfection.
