Ages 6-10

Get ready, little chefs, for a super fun and festive adventure in the kitchen! This hands-on class is all about celebrating the yummy flavors of Thanksgiving with awesome creations you’ll love to make (and eat!). We’ll turn delicious harvest ingredients into super cool and tasty treats, perfect for sharing with family on Turkey Day. Aprons on, imaginations ready – let’s get cooking!

On the Menu:

• Mini “Gobble-Gobble” Pot Pies: A savory, flaky, and hearty mini chicken (or turkey) pot pie, packed with veggies – a comforting bite that’s perfect for a little chef’s meal!
• Pumpkin Patch Pudding Cups: Layers of creamy pumpkin pudding and crumbled “dirt,” topped with edible candy pumpkins for a sweet autumn scene.
• Apple Pie Bites: Sweet, individual pastry pockets filled with warm, spiced apples – all the deliciousness of pie in a perfect, kid-friendly bite!
• “Fall Harvest” Trifle Jars: Colorful layers of cake, whipped cream, and mixed berries or soft roasted apples, creating a beautiful and tasty individual dessert.

What To Expect: 

In our classes you’ll work together with other students in a fun, hands-on environment led by our professional chef instructors.

• You will work with other students in groups of 4, sharing workstations and equipment.
• Classes are 2 hours, unless otherwise noted above
• Hands-on classes are limited to 12-16 students
• You will be standing, cooking and working for most of the class
• Please wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes and have long hair tied back
• We will serve water, soda or juice with your meal.

Mis En Place recipes are developed using common cooking and baking ingredients that may or may not be specified in the menu titles, including various fruits and vegetables, nuts, meats, spices, wheat flours, etc. If you have a food allergy, please check with Mis En Place Cooking Studio before attending the class. Adjustments to recipes cannot be made during class
