Spooktacular Bites: A Halloween Appetizer Party

Get ready to brew up some spooky culinary magic in the studio! Join us for a fun, hands-on cooking workshop dedicated to the art of themed party food. Whether you’re hosting a neighborhood Halloween bash, a cozy movie night, or just love playful presentation, this class will show you how to transform simple, delicious ingredients into monstrously fun finger foods and appetizers!

On the menu:

Ghostly Goat Cheese Crostini: Toasted baguette slices topped with whipped goat cheese, honey, and fig jam, piped or shaped into ghost silhouettes.

Monster Mozzarella Bites: Fresh mozzarella balls marinated in pesto, paired with cherry tomatoes and basil on skewers with candy eyes attached.

Bourbon-Glazed “Spooktacular” Meatballs

Juicy cocktail meatballs tossed in a glossy brown sugar, bourbon, and apple cider glaze, served with fresh rosemary sprigs.

Smoked Salmon & Dill “Eyeball” Toasts

Baguette slices spread  with cream cheese, dill, capers, and smoked salmon and topped with a single green olive slice and fresh dill

Bacon-Wrapped Stuffed Dates

Sweet Medjool dates stuffed with sharp cheddar or blue cheese, wrapped tightly in crisp bacon, and baked with a touch of maple syrup.

Cranberry-Brie Pastry Bites

Mini muffin tin bites made with puff pastry squares, a chunk of rich brie cheese, and a spoonful of tart spiced cranberry sauce.

What To Expect: In our classes you’ll work together with other students in a fun, hands-on environment led by our professional chef instructors.

  • You will work with other students in groups of 4, sharing workstations and equipment.
  • Classes are 2 hours, unless otherwise noted above
  • Hands-on classes are limited to 12-16 students
  • You will be standing, cooking and working for most of the class
  • Please wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes and have long hair tied back
  • We will serve witches brew (chef made cocktail)

Mis En Place recipes are developed using common cooking and baking ingredients that may or may not be specified in the menu titles, including various fruits and vegetables, nuts, meats, spices, wheat flours, etc. If you have a food allergy, please check with Mis En Place Cooking Studio before attending the class. Adjustments to recipes cannot be made during class.
