The Art of Phở: Traditional Vietnamese Beef Noodle Soup & Fresh Spring Rolls
Master the secrets behind Vietnam’s most iconic comfort food in this immersive, hands-on cooking class. We demystify the magic of authentic Phở Bò, focusing on the true star of the dish: a rich, deeply aromatic, crystal-clear beef broth built from scratch with charred aromatics and toasted spices. Along the way, you’ll master knife skills, fresh finger foods, and a refreshing sweet treat to round out the meal.
What You’ll Make:
- The Ultimate Beef Phở Broth: Learn the step-by-step techniques for parboiling, roasting bones, charring ginger and shallots, and infusing whole spices like star anise, cinnamon, and black cardamom for unmatched depth.
- The Full Spread of Accoutrements: Learn to prep delicate rice noodles, and build the classic tabletop garnish platter stacked with Thai basil, fresh mint, cilantro, jalapeños, lime wedges, and crisp bean sprouts.
- Fresh Summer Rolls (Gỏi Cuốn): Practice the art of rehydrating delicate rice paper and rolling tight, beautiful spring rolls packed with shrimp, herbs, and vermicelli, paired with a rich, savory peanut dipping sauce.
- Chef to demo Sweet Finish: Chef will have a chilled dessert—a silky Vietnamese Coffee Panna Cotta with a condensed milk drizzle ready for dessert to keep your focus on the Pho.
- Grab an apron, bring your appetite, and leave with the confidence to simmer restaurant-quality phở right in your home kitchen.
